Diplomatic Appraisal

Diplomatic Appraisal

"He's gay, Jim."  Pouring another cup of coffee, McCoy continued the discussion of the handsome Romulan diplomat who had recently come aboard the Enterprise.

"I'm aware of that, Bones," replied Kirk, who had never been remiss in evaluating the sexual potential of every humanoid he encountered.

McCoy commented, "Starfleet Intelligence might find that to be useful in obtaining information from the fellow.  Romulan society tends to frown on homosexuality."

"Really, Bones, you're not being very hospitable toward our guest.  I had something different in mind, such as visiting his quarters later this evening to give him a more personal welcome."
